IF Bottled

Trying out a little black and white sketch here for Illustration Friday on the theme 'Bottled'. Apparently in New Zealand 2 bottles containing the ghosts of a man and child were sold for $2830 after their contents were exorcised from someones home. Very random. Anyway that's the story behind my sketch.


And on the subject of New Zealand here is a drawing of a bird I encountered on my recent trip there. Admittedly they don't usually wander round with a top had and net but they reminded me of a bird version of the child catcher.

Autumn

Feeling very much like autumn now. I love all the colours of autumn, the reds yellows and oranges, so vibrant. I also like speeding through a pile of crispy leaves on my bike which inspired this little drawing. There is a bigger version on my Flickr.

New Stuff

Oh dear it's been a while. Anyway here is some new stuff I have been working on. Some characters for the current tigerprint competition. Still early days for character design for me but I'm quite pleased with the result of these.
Ill try and keep updating here with as I start to develop my illustration skills.
